Dr. Kamaldeen Mohammed, with a PhD in Geography and Environment, is a Postdoctoral Fellow for PARTAKE Africa in the Department of Geography and Environment at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Western University. He is interested in researching the vulnerability of smallholder farmers to climate change and pathways for climate change adaptation, resilience, and mitigation in sub–Saharan Africa. Additionally, he is keen to understand the implications of climate change for agriculture, food security, forests, health, and livelihoods in rural Africa, as well as ways to harness nature to improve climate resilience and mitigation. At the WeCLISH Centre, Kamaldeen expects to engage in the vibrant exchange of multidisciplinary knowledge on climate change.
